‘Suraj School’ provides a Government approved safe, secure and child friendly transport system for students. The school has a fleet of AC and Non-AC buses catering to students upto 50-60 KM from each school area.
The transport staff including bus drivers and conductors are well trained and experienced. The school management take care of training sessions and medical check up for bus drivers and conductors with special emphasis on safety and security of children.
We provide new Government approved buses with experienced & trained staff for all the students. All school buses are equipped with CCTV and GPS. With the availability of seats, students can avail the school transport. Parents should consult the school transport in-charge for the necessary details.
Transport Policy
Bus service is voluntary and available on a first-come first-serve basis. Routes of the school buses are drawn up carefully after due consideration. However, the decision of the school authorities will be final on issue related to routing, timing, pick up point, etc. Parents should contact the school Transport In-charge for necessary details. Parents wanting to avail bus facility have to fill up the Transport Requisition form available at the reception. In case of a change of residential address/ Bus stop/ change in route, kindly intimate the School in writing. Parents/guardians are requested to carry the school’s authorization card issued by school to be shown at the pickup and drop points, every day for security reasons.

RULES TO FOLLOW IN THE BUS
- - Students should listen to the instructions given by the Teachers / Conductors / Monitors.
- - The senior students are expected to look after the junior students, and give them seat in the bus.
- - Boarding on and getting off a moving bus is strictly prohibited.
- - Creating noise and causing confusion in the bus is not permitted. Students are forbidden to throw anything out of the windows of the bus, as this will distract the driver and may result in an accident.
- - Any student found using foul language or caught fighting in the bus shall be suspended from using the school transport, furthermore if discipline continues to be a problem, transport facility shall be withdrawn.
- - Parents are requested not to board school buses to see off or receive their wards.
- - Student using the school bus is expected to be at the bus stop at least ten minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus. The buses will not wait for latecomers.
- - The school reserves the right to alter the timings, routes and stops as and when necessary.
- - If any parent whose child is availing school transport service wishes to take their ward, he/she has to collect the gate pass from the account office half an hour before the departure time of buses.
- - Students are allowed to use only the allotted bus and bus stop. No change can be allowed without prior written permission of the school.
- - All students must occupy vacant seats immediately after boarding their respective buses. Reservation of seats for co-commuters is not allowed under any circumstances.
- - Students must not move around in the bus when it is in motion.
- - Students must not put any part of their body outside the bus. They should not put their hands out even for waving.
- - Transportation Fees will be charged for all 11 months. The amount is payable along with the school fees on a quarterly basis.
- - No withdrawal would be considered without prior written one month clear intimation.
- - Parents are requested not to pressurize / harass the staff on the bus, for creating of any new stop or for changing the route.
